Q. Why does Tamcat tell me ”Connect a Library Card to Your Account”/” For hold and recall information, please establish your Library Catalog Profile” when I try to place a request?

Answer

If you have received a new library card after your last login, you need to remove your old library card from your account and add the new one.

If your password has been reset at the customer service desk, you need to update your password on the ”Library Cards” –tab. In order to do that, click ”Update card name/username/password”.

After this, input the password you received at the customer service to the password field and click ”Save” to update the password. You should be able to place a request after that.
